Physical Therapy
Can help with pain, weakness, reduced endurance, loss of balance or motion, and decreased ability to function or move.

Occupational Therapy
Can help with functional skills which may include activities of daily living, homemaking skills, functional transfers, upper extremity function and positioning techniques.

Speech Therapy
Can evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive linguistic, hearing and swallowing disorders.

Nursing, DON
Directs and oversees the everyday care of our residents. Making sure physicians orders are followed and addressing concerns as the develop.

Social Services Director
Meets with residents and families for admission and deals with hospitals concerning discharge. Works with families and residents to make the transition as easy as possible.

Dietary Manager
Oversees the preparation of nutritious meals that are served in our attractive dining room. Personal attention is given to each resident in their choice of menu, given within the guidelines of their physician as to diet orders.

Laundry Supervisor
Sees that the residents personal laundry is picked up and delivered back to the residents clean, and in a timely manner. Makes sure that beds are made with fresh linen daily, and keeps plenty of linens, towels, & wash-cloths on hand.

Housekeeping Supervisor
When you enter the nursing center, your nose will know that the housekeeping department is doing their job. This department not only keeps the residents rooms clean, sanitized and neat, but ensures that the whole facility is neat and clean at all times.

Nursing Center Activities Director
The "fun" for the residents begin here. Daily, weekly, monthly and special events are carefully planned, keeping in mind what our "senior citizens" capabilities and what appeals to them.

Maintenance Supervisor
Problems with plumbing, heating, cooling, telephones etc., our maintenance department keeps both the inside and outside of the Nursing Home safe and attractive and in "working order".

Telephones
Telephones can be installed in residents' rooms, or cordless phones are available at the Nurses stations which can be used at any time.

Beauty Shop
The beautician is in our facility on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 2pm.

Activity Department
Exercises in the lounge are at 9:30am to start off the day. And large group activities are at 1am and 2pm in the lounge. Additional small activities are in various locations throughout the day.

Mail Delivery
Mail is delivered by the end of the day to your room Monday through Saturday.

Church Services
We have two church service weekly and a Catholic Mass monthly. Various ministers provide a service on Thursday mornings at 10:30am and on Sunday morning or afternoon.

Personal Laundry
We provide personal laundry services for a monthly fee or your family/friend is permitted to do your personal laundry.

Resident Council
Resident council is your way of informing the facility of any problems, concerns or suggestions you may have. All residents are encouraged to attend.

Television
There are two televisions in the nursing home. Both are hooked up to cable. You may choose to bring a TV from home.

Newspaper
The Rockford newspaper is deliver each morning and the Freeport news paper is delivered in the afternoon.

Voting
Medina provides the means for all who wish to vote to do so. You may choose to vote by absentee ballot or by going to the our local polling place.
