Do you miss having ghosts and goblins come to your door on Halloween? At Medina you can pass out candy to over 300 children dressed in their Halloween costumes from the security and comfort of your room door. Christmas is a big holiday for us with our Family Party attended by over 400 people including Santa. The smell of a hamburger on the grill during our summer cookouts will bring back the memories of the family picnics you used to have. Mothers and Daughters enjoy an afternoon together at our Mother-Daughter Luncheon held every year during National Nursing Home Week. Summer again brings the family together at our Family Cookout with entertainment and food. We have even been entertained by a real Nashville recording star. Daily activities keep you busy after breakfast until supper time in our lounge. Volleyball, chair aerobics, crossword puzzles, Price is Right, Resident Council, Church Service, music, rhythm band, food committee, weekly bus rides and Make a Meal are a few. Come to all or choose a few, it's up to you.

Activity Department - Exercises in the lounge are at 9:30am to start off the day. And large group activities are at 1am and 2pm in the lounge. Additional small activities are in various locations throughout the day.
